Sometimes we may not feel worthy to put ourselves first, but I learned that by doing so, I accomplished my healthy eating goals, lost weight, and was still able to take care of my family. It can be done. You will feel happier and have more energy when you are healthier.

How To Get Over Junk Food Cravings And Burn Fat

  • Substitutes. In order for you to reduce junk food cravings, it is a good idea to find other food options to replace your favored junk food. Try a protein drink or a protein bar for snacks. I love to make protein bites to eat instead of candy bars or granola bars. Veggies and hummus are great alternative to chips and dips. Fruit is excellent for satisfying your sweet tooth.
  • Essential oils. Essential oils are a great tool for managing your cravings. They have powerful properties that suppress the appetite. Make sure you use the best quality essential oils to ensure effectiveness.
  • Rewards. Never reward yourself with food. This is a junk food pitfall. Instead, reward your good behavior and accomplishments with an activity, work out gear or clothes, or time for yourself like a massage.
  • Throw out. Rid your home, work area, and car of all junk food. Clearing it all out is a great way to start fresh.
  • Chew gum. Have gum handy to chew when you get an urge for junk food.
