1. Spending lots of time conditioning will lead to faster weight loss
Will logging in ridiculous hours on the treadmill lead to more weight loss? When we think about it, we are burning the calories we take in. You will start to see weight loss almost instantly, but it's not the kind of weight you want to lose. Doing cardio alone will burn fat and muscle which is not what you want. Add some weight training into your routine to build fat burning muscle.
2. Commit an hour to cardio
No! Adding High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) into your workout program will get you the fast results you are looking for. Slow and boring conditioning breaks down muscle and it takes forever. Who has time to spend an hour on cardio? HIIT training will burn more fat in a shorter amount of time.
3. Cardio on an empty stomach
