Lemon water: Lemon is another citrus that reduces the appetite. Add fresh squeezed lemon to your water and drink throughout the day. Lemon is a natural detoxifier.

Pickled foods: That's right, food that is soaked in vinegar. Pickles, green olives, pickled vegetables, and so forth. Not only are pickled foods low in calories, but the sour taste leaves a feeling of being full and satisfied.

Apple Cider Vinegar: Speaking of vinegar…apple cider vinegar has many health benefits. It is a strong appetite suppressant. Take a tablespoon a day.


Ginger: The spice or food ginger is very calming to the stomach. It also acts as an appetite suppressant.

Exercising: Vigorous exercise or activity that gets the heart rate up, aids in suppressing the appetite. Regular activity helps to regulate blood sugar levels and stop cravings.

Essential oils: Essential oils are full of properties that naturally reduce the appetite.

Water: Drinking plenty of water can promote a feeling of satisfaction and fullness.

Staying busy: Being focused on something else can keep your mind off of food or treats.

Vitamins: Take your daily supplements and vitamins to support your body's systems. Sometimes your body is feeling deprived because of a vitamin or mineral deficiency. Check with your doctor about what your body may be lacking.
